EDGE online program

We will continue offering our online-only Enhanced Digital Guided Education (EDGE) program. Students who are in EDGE will remain connected to their resident school while receiving online instruction by Salem-Keizer’s EDGE teachers.

Starting in the fall of 2021, EDGE students can choose between two learning pathways to best meet the needs of individual students and their families. One option is called EDGE Connected, which includes daily, teacher-led instruction. The other option is EDGE Independent, which is student-paced with teacher oversight and offers a more flexible schedule.

The deadline to register for a guaranteed spot in EDGE is Friday, May 14, 2021. Students registered after this date will be enrolled if there is room in the program.

2021- 22 Online Registration is now open! Each year we need families to review their information and update anything that has changed. SENIOR GALA

Due to increase of COVID numbers, the tentative date for our Senior Gala: Romance in Rome, has been changed to June 5, Saturday, 8:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. The location will be West Salem High School stadium so that all seniors and early grads may attend.

This event will be the opportunity to combine three of the traditional WSHS senior events; senior banquet, senior academic awards, and spring formal to truly celebrate our seniors who did not let this difficult past year stand in the way of their success and achievements.

This will be a free event, where seniors will enjoy entertainment, displayed senior awards, food carts and prizes as well as music.

In order for safety of all, face coverings must be worn during this event.

Because we want all our seniors to participate within a safe matrix, no guests will be attending. This will be a WSHS senior/early grad event only.

PLEASE REMEMBER: Due to the everchanging COVID safety guidelines all events are subject to change and/or possible cancellation. So, let us do our best to keep our county numbers as low as possible so we can ensure these opportunities for our students!

Thank you,
