June 5             SENIOR GALA (Students Only) – West Salem High Stadium – No Cost – 8:00 -11:00 p.m.

June 9              MANDATORY COMMENCEMENT PRACTICE –Practice time will correspond to the same time        you signed up for your graduation ceremony.  Example: 9:30 a.m. ceremony on Thursday, June 10, your practice time will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 9.

West Salem High School Stadium

NO CAP AND GOWN–Seniors must be present in order to walk at graduation

SENIOR WALKS –      Chapman & Kalapuya – 12:00 p.m.

Brush College/Harritt/Myers – 2:00 p.m.

June 10            COMMENCEMENT – West Salem High School Stadium –Cap and Gown Required

(Tickets required)

Sessions: 9:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 5:00 p.m.

Separate email will follow for signing up.

Doors open for seating – 30 minutes prior to ceremony time.

Graduates line up – 45 minutes prior to ceremony time.

GRADUATION TICKETS

The tickets will be handed out at rehearsal on Wednesday, June 9.  Each Senior will receive 4 tickets.  If additional tickets are needed, it is suggested that you contact classmates for extras. Please remember when contacting classmates that they are scheduled for the same ceremony time as it is limited seating per session.

 

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

To be able to participate in the graduation ceremony:   Seniors must complete the 24 credit requirement. For students graduation in 2020-2021 class, the essential skills requirements have been waived. Any additional coursework, such as online, college credit, work experience credit or District Alternative Education credit, must be completed and submitted by 3:00 p.m. on June 9th, so that credits can be verified.
