  • September 8: Senior Parent Informational Night 6-8 PM in Upper Commons
  • September 9: First Senior Meeting – Auditorium (10:10 AM - 10:45 AM)
  • September 15 & 16: Jostens taking cap & gown orders – during lunch in the lower commons
  • September 17: FSA ID Night - 5-8 PM. in the College and Career Center, Room C204
  • September 30: Salem Area College & Career Fair @ McKay High (6:00 PM - 8:00 PM)
  • September 30: Music College Fair @ McKay High School (6:00 PM - 8:00 PM)

October 

  • October 1: How colleges look at a college application 6-8 PM in the College and Career Center (C204)

  • March 31: Prom Assembly – Gym (9:50 AM - 10:45 AM) 
  • March 30-April 17: Prom Ticket Sales - Seniors and Juniors may purchase one ticket for themselves and one for a guest from grades 9-12 or another school - $40 per ticket

April

  • April 7th: Capital College Night - 6 PM - 8 PM Sprague High School
  • April 14: Second Senior Class Meeting - Auditorium (9:50 AM - 10:45 AM)
  • April 20-24: Last Minute Prom Tickets - $50 per ticket
  • April 22: Senior Speaker Auditions - Main office (please sign up in counseling center by 4/20)
  • April 25: Prom – Time 7-10 PM, Location Zenith Vineyard
  • April 27: Senior Banquet tickets go on sale - $15 per ticket (prices will increase)

May

  • May 12: Third Senior Class Meeting – Auditorium (9:50 AM - 10:45 AM)
  • MAY 15: Jostens Cap/Gown Delivery during lunch - Lower Commons

June

  • JUNE 1: Clean-Up Day - finish any work in your classes (Optional)
  • JUNE 2: Senior Academic Awards – Main Gym, 9:49 AM-10:43 AM during advisory period 
  • JUNE 3: Senior Parade of Honor: 
    • Myers: time 1:00 PM
    • Kalapuya: time 1:00 PM
    • Chapman Hill: time 1:30 PM

Graduation Day!

  • JUNE 4: Senior Breakfast – Lower Commons, 7:30 AM
  • JUNE 4: MANDATORY Commencement Practice – 9:00-12:00 PM
    • Oregon State Fair Pavilion
    • No cap and gown – Seniors must be present in order to walk at graduation (transportation will be available if needed)
  • JUNE 4: COMMENCEMENT – Oregon State Fair Pavilion – 6:30 PM
    • Cap and Gown Required.
    • Students arrive at 5:00 PM and line up at 5:30 PM.
    • Doors open for seating at 5:00 PM.
  • JUNE 4: Senior Grad Party – Senior Party/Celebration – To purchase tickets and get the most up-to-date information, check Titan Grad Party website (Tickets required)

GRADUATION TICKETS

The tickets will be handed out at rehearsal on Thursday, June 4th.  Each Senior will receive 10 tickets.  If additional tickets are needed, it is suggested that you contact classmates for extras.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

To be able to participate in the graduation ceremony, Seniors must complete the 24-credit requirement. Any additional coursework, such as online, college credit, work experience credit or District Alternative Education credit, must be completed and submitted by 3:00 PM on June 3rd, so that credits can be verified.
