The counseling and career center is here to serve you and your student. Your student is assigned a counselor by his/her last name, except for the freshman. Our office hours are Monday – Friday, 7:15am – 3:15pm. Our counselors and career specialist can be reached by email or calling 503-584-6440.
The West Salem High School counselors and career specialist utilize the Salem-Keizer Comprehensive Guidance & Counseling Program in developing and implementing services which address the academic, personal-social, and career development of all students.

This is a new after school help session every Tuesday from 2:25 - 3:45 p.m. in the Career Center.
Mrs. Singleton and a counselor will be available to help you with resumes, scholarships, applications, FAFSA, College and Career Planning, ACT and SAT registration and anything else related to your goals and plans. Get help. Get answers. Get focused on your future.
